Therapy Dissolves Helplessness and Hopelessness

Most people try many times to change their addictive behaviour and the repeated cycle of feeling like a failure and returning to the behaviour again and again induces beliefs that things can never change and and that there is no way out for them.

But therapy shows you that there are clear, understandable strategies and plans for working your way forward away from the addiction.  While therapy can sometimes feel a bit mysterious,  it is based on well researched approaches and methods.  Knowing the aim of the therapeutic intervention gives people greater optimism, confidence and sense that they are taking charge of their lives again.
